It’s been a busy time for members at Evolve. John and Leanne have once again led the way with the Highland Fling Ultra and all three Stocker Kids – Owen, Emelie and Ivan – did superb on their schools sorts day.
Leanne also ran the London marathon and got a PB on the hottest London marathon to date, Clare Varney and Daniel Giddens also ran their first London marathon.
There has been a good turn out from Evolve at several events.
Blenheim 7K: Kate Peacock, Kelly Sawyer, Sarah Obinna, Sarah Watt, James Boardman and young Victoria Peacock in the kids 1 miler. Sarah Wyatt also ran the Milton Keynes half marathon one week after completing the Blenheim 7K.
Town & Gown 10K: Clare Varney, Kelly Sawyer, Lawrence Webb, Sofie Alexandra and Tim McGill.
Otmoor Half Marathon: Ed Peacock, Gary Anderson, Hayley Chambers, Leanne Stocker, Sammi Suter and Stephen Caesar.
Gary Anderson and Hayley Chambers also ran the Midnight Sun marathon in Norway!
Heyford 10K: Sammi Suter was first lady home, also running were Clare Varney, Karen McGill and Tim McGill.
Sammi Suter also came fourth in her category at the Buckingham half marathon – superb running
Moonwalk: Jennifer Tattersall and Sarah Smart completed the Moon walk for a very good cause. Cass Barnett also ran the Race for Life, again for a very good cause.
Lawrence Webb has had a flying start to his season also completing the Claydon 10K and the Lollop 10k.
Ed Peacock completed the Paris marathon.
Kelly Sawyer got her season off to a good start with the Hillsden 5k on Easter Monday.
Liam Kiely did the Hackney Half to start his season.
Rob Hill completed the Thame 10K and has the Windsor half marathon to follow.
What a busy 3 months for our members, fantastic effort from all.
Finally but definitely not least, we remember Michael Butland who died one year ago far too young and forever in our hearts.
